Beauty Product Review : Cinema Secrets Ultimate Foundation

Review Cinema Secrets Ultimate Foundation is one of my favourite cream-based foundations. It is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. The foundation is very soft and it spreads very thinly to create a very flawless application, yet provides coverage like a concealer.  This is a hidden gem, since it's not found in regular department stores. Your best bet is to order online or find it at specialty industry makeup stores in your area. There are over 50 colours available, so you're bound to find the right shade for you.

The trick is, you can't apply too heavily or it might cake in fine lines. If you set it with a loose/pressed powder, then it does hold very well.  You can sheer the foundation by either mixing it with moisturizer or liquid foundation or by using a damp sponge/damp foundation brush for application.  Depending on the client's skin, this foundation can sometimes look like it's been airbrushed.

I've tried using it to cover tattoos before but found it wasn't as effective because it does rub off if you touch it.  And if the client has large pores, sometimes the product is visible in the pores, in which you'll need to use a pore-refining primer ahead of time.  And because the foundation is so soft, sometimes it's difficult covering a huge/raised blemish. It doesn't grip that well to blemishes and you'll need to touch it up later.  What I usually do is use a different concealer that really grips onto skin in that particular area and use a heavier powder for coverage to set it.
